About Us
Urbanbacha was created by Veli Kozanli – a passionate dancer and movement coach with a strong background in sports, martial arts and dance.
From Capoeira and acrobatics to partner dance, years of experience shaped a teaching style that focuses on:
- empathy
- motivation
- personal feedback
- authentic expression
Urbanbacha is built on the belief that everyone can dance - and that movement is a powerful way to grow, connect and feel alive.
This is more than a class. It’s a community.
Who is Veli
Veli has always been fascinated by music and movement. As a passionate martial artist, he came to Munich seeking new opportunities and began with breakdancing before discovering Capoeira – the discipline that truly captured his heart.
His dedication led him to win 1st place at the Unicar Capoeira Championship organized by Mestre Saguin and Mestre Saci. He later performed professionally under an Aida Opera dance contract, gaining stage experience and refining his presence as a performer.
After obtaining his coaching license, Veli began teaching martial arts and Capoeira, eventually founding the school Capoeira-Finta, where he trained and mentored students for many years.
This wealth of experience became the foundation of Urbanbacha – a creative dance style built on freedom, expression and authentic movement.
Veli is looking forward to building Urbanbacha together with you.
